ReplyDeleteI choose this celebration because, we remember the history of the our country in three days with the family. we play every games for example trompo, volantin and la rayuela.
we eat very much, we eat meat, potatoes with may, "ensalada a la chilena" consisting in tomato with onion is so delicious.
I think this celebration is more massive than the others because, this is celebrate in all country and no corner of the country doesn't celebrate fiestas patrias we are so patriot we love our flag and the anthem is the best of sudamerican.
I think fistas partias is the most important celebration than others, because we celebrate our origin in general, we celebrate our history

DeleteI prefer "Santiago a Mil" because I like to see theater and cultural shows. I always participate together with my friends. Many people frequently attend theaters, dances, etc. I consider this better than any other, since there is no other equal to the festivities. The other holidays are another theme and are very far from Santiago.
ReplyDeleteI choose Viña del Mar Music Festival because is a week with amazing musical show for the people in Chile, also the city is very beautiful,so close Valparaiso and to Santiago is less than an hour. This celebration is the most popular event in the summer, the streets in the city are very crowed in this week. Also is possible view the shows for the television and all the people in Chile enjoy the festival.
ReplyDeleteI prefer fiestas patrias, because is a time when the family meets and shares. In this celebration we can eat typical food and dance typical dances like the cueca or polka. The fiestas patrias is better than others celebrations because is the only celebration that we can celebrate all the people with the traditions than we have in Chile.
ReplyDeleteI prefer we tripantu because it's a celebration which represents the chilean culture, its ancestors and their connection with earth, not like the other celebrations that give importance to the consumerism and animal abuse like "rodeo", so for me, we tripantu is better than "viña de mar music festival" or "fiestas patrias".
ReplyDeleteI prefer fiestas patrias because the day on 17 september my mother is birthday and on day 18 we celebrate with all family. Also in fiestas patrias I go with my friends and my boyfriend to the Fondas or we go to the beach. In the Fondas or beach we eat delicious, we drink alcohol, especially Terremoto this is alcohol (pipeño) with ice cream, finally we dance all night, especially Cumbia and Cueca, the cueca is the typical dance of Chile. Finally I love fiestas patrias, because there is a free day o more days.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Viña del Mar Music Festival because it is immensely popular and is one of world´s largest of its kind. I think its better than others festivals like Santiago a Mil because it has internationals musicians and internationals competitions and because Festival de viña is less longer than Santiago a Mil, I don´t like longer festivals.

ReplyDeleteThe fiestas patrias is more representative than festival de la tirana because la tirana is religious celebration and fiestas patrias is a celebration in the all country.
I prefer we tripantu because this celebration is more ancient and historic. Also is a interesting because represent the culture indigenous Mapuche. We tripantu is better than others celebration, because this cultural representation is in the south of Chile and this place is more beatiful than the north or the beach. Also is more intriguing than the music festival
ReplyDeleteI choose Patriotic Festivities, because it's a historic celebration that's done in the entire country for many days (sometimes). It's also a moment when you can share with your family and do cultural tipical chilean activities, like making tipical food, dancing cueca, playing tipical games of the country. For me, this celebration is better tan the others, because is cheaper in comparison than Viña del mar Music Festival or Tirana’s Festival, to get there you have to travel so much, but you can celebrate Patriotic Festivities in your home.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite celebration in Chile is “fiestas patrias” because it’s a reason for be together with all family. I love this date of Year because the typical Food is delicious, for example: “empanadas de pino”, “pastel de choclo”, etc. “las fondas” is a typical place for visit in this date, this place is really patriotic because you can see typical Chilean games, typical Chilean food, Chilean flags everywhere,typical dances. in summary in this place you celebrate your country once a year. This celebration is more interesting than “festival de Viña” because you feel a really patriotic.

ReplyDeleteI like Fiestas Patrias celebration more than others festivities of Chile, because is the moment when all society is unified for one cause, share with family and friends. Fiestas Patrias celebration is funnier than Viña del Mar Festival for the friendly atmosphere. Also Santiago a Mil and We Tripantu are not congregate than Fiestas Patrias. Moreover is very important how are other places, Carnaval Andino and La Tirana Festival are farther than Fiestas Patrias Celebration.
ReplyDeleteI prefer "La Tirana" festival, because for one week the people are dancing in honor to Virgin of Carmen, everything is about this religion celebration, is amazing how the people love her. At least 6 month before La Tirana festival, everybody prepare this celebration and they prepare their traditional clothing perform in Virgin of Carmen's honor. You can see and enjoy their tipical dances like "diablada", "tinku", "caporales", etc.
